About Me

I have worked as an attorney for over thirty years. Much of that time has been spent as a litigator in hundreds of hearings and dozens of trials, effectively advocating for my clients. The first five years of my legal career was spent as a prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office of Suffolk County and Plymouth County, Massachusetts. In those five years, I litigated more than a hundred criminal trials, securing convictions for those charged with murder, rape, robbery, arson and other serious felonies. After leaving the District Attorney’s Office and going into private practice here in Connecticut, I have garnered more than twenty years’ experience in defending clients in criminal court and in litigating divorce, probate and civil litigation matters. This experience serves my clients well, because they can rest assured that if the matter cannot be resolved without a trial, they are in the hands of a seasoned litigator who can advocate their position ably in court. While I can provide effective representation in court, I also want to work with clients in solving their legal matters out of court. My aim is to find the best possible solution for my clients, one that causes the least amount of distress and discord. I am also involved in the Greenwich community: I am a member of the Representative Town Meeting serving as Chairman of its Legislative and Rules Committee.

My legal practice is built upon three decades of experience. With each new case, I incorporate this experiential knowledge for the benefit of my clients.
